Today was the demonstration day for Avignon's student. We were 6500, one of the biggest demonstration in all France. It was great to walk, yelling " Le Pen t'es foutu, la jeunesse est dans la rue" (Le Pen, your time is over, the youngs are in the street), or my favorite one "les touristes avec nous, des fachos y'en a partout" (tourists, come with us, there are fascists everywhere), and, at the end, when we were all sitting on the pope's palace place "dé-mocracie" (there was even a red flag with "no passaran" written on it). The best of all was that there was no violence (it's rare in french demonstrations). I'm so jealous of you, Barbara, at least I think we all are...

Well, about the Avignon thing:
I thought our little brother had to play at the theatrefestival, so than we would come, but now I heard he hasn't got to, so I don't know yet, but if there is some VOE-meeting, I would love to.
It is our last holiday-day, so from tomorrow again classes (not that learning the whole holiday is any better!)

The theatre festival is usually in the 2 last weeks of July, and the first week of august. There are over 300 plays,from 10 am until 12 pm (beginning of the last plays), plus lots of street shows, like people advertising for their plays. It's lot of people, meeting, sounds, and it's really great. There are also some great names playing (last year, I went to see Kristin Scott Thomas, with Lambert Wilson). It would be great to see you there. Say me when you come (if you come), and I'll try to find as much rooms in Avignon as you will need.
Congratulations to the new parents, and good luck for all trips, exams, et caetera...
